Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks a Technologist Assistant to support imaging teams, prepare patient spaces, and assist with mobility and exam prep in a fast-paced setting.

You will help ensure patient comfort, safety, and efficient throughput while following safety protocols and clinical guidelines. This hands-on role involves standing, walking, and direct patient contact, contributing to high-quality imaging experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior healthcare or patient-facing experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required (or obtained within required timeframe).
• IV certification or willingness to obtain (depending on modality requirements).
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and physically assist patients throughout the day.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and ensure readiness for imaging procedures.
• Assist with patient flow, positioning, and mobility during visits.
• Support technologists and clinical staff to maintain safe, efficient workflows.
