Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Mammography Technologist who delivers screening and diagnostic mammography with tomosynthesis. You will maintain accuracy in positioning, compression, and exposure parameters while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will follow MQSA/ACR standards, maintain ARRT certification, state licensure, BLS, and required CEUs, and manage a fast-paced outpatient workflow with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography, state license as required.
• Current BLS and MQSA-mandated CEUs every three years.
• Proficiency with digital mammography equipment, RIS and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography—including tomosynthesis in full compliance with ACR, MQSA, and facility protocols.
• Positioning accuracy and optimal compression; ensure image quality before release.
• Select correct exposure parameters and apply ALARA principles consistently.
• Maintain thorough documentation, precise image labeling, and QA to keep the facility compliant.
• Manage own workflow in a busy outpatient setting; stay organized and independent.
