Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to perform high-quality imaging procedures at the Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon. The role requires ARRT Radiology certification and mammography registration within six months, plus BLS.

You will work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced imaging department. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, reviewing histories, acquiring images, and assisting radiologists

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology is required with Mammography registry within six months of hire.
• MQSA training and compliance must be demonstrated.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient ID and match to orders.
• Review mammography history and prior exams for accuracy.
• Perform digital imaging acquisition with attention to quality.
• Evaluate image quality and consult radiologist as needed.
• Assist radiologist during invasive procedures and maintain sterile technique.
