Responsibilities

• Verify patient ID armband and proof of identity.
• Review patient history and correlate prior mammograms.
• Perform digital imaging acquisition and optimize image quality.
• Evaluate image quality and consult radiologist as needed.
• Assist radiologist during invasive procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Report equipment issues and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure correct exam submission to PACS.
