Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and assist with interventional techniques. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and complete a school of Radiologic Technology. Key requirements include excellent communication and computer skills, along with the ability to obtain ARRT certification and NJ state license. This role includes weekend duties as needed and participating in holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques.
• Produce sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation.
• Assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures.

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation and assists with interventional and therapeutic procedures.

Weekends as needed. One holiday required per annual year.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
2. Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

1. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, CT) within 9 months of entering position
2. NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
3. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
