Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Mammography Technologist in Hackensack, NJ responsible for performing mammography examinations per ACR requirements, including screening and diagnostic procedures. Candidates must have a High School diploma, be graduates of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, and have NJ state licensing. Qualifications

• Must pass the National Registry (ARRT) examination.
• License for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.) is required.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations following ACR requirements.
• Conduct both screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Execute all Mammographic procedures.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Education

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammography examinations following ACR requirements. This includes screening and diagnostic mammography as well as all Mammographic procedures.

Eligible for a pro-rated sign-on bonus for part time Mammography Technologist positions who accept a job offer on or before July 22, 2026.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be able to meet the requirements for the National Registry (ARRT) and pass the examination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT,M)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
