Overview

Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, provides comprehensive in-office Mammography services using state-of-the-art equipment and expert staff committed to high standards of care. Located within our network of affiliated OBGYN practices, we offer patients a familiar environment with convenient access to well-women visits and annual screening mammograms.

We are seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist for our office at an affiliated practice in Novi, MI.

The Mammography Technologist will perform 3D digital mammography to assist in diagnosing disease within the OBGYN setting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mammography, work independently, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Ensuring high-quality service and care delivery is essential.

Retention Bonus: Attain 120 hours of work to receive a $1,000 bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper operation of mammography equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Maintain attention to detail during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists regarding exams.
• Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Complete patient documentation and administrative tasks accurately.
• Ensure timely delivery of results and escalate delays appropriately.
• Support compliance with MQSA and ACR standards.
• Maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

Additional Job Functions

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) and Certification in Mammography (M) required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain certification and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
