Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, offers in-office Mammography services using top-of-the-line equipment and expert staff. Our network of affiliated OBGYN practices provides patients with a familiar, in-office environment for well-women visits and annual screening mammograms.

We are seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist for our office in Novi, MI. The technologist will perform 3D digital mammography to assist in diagnosing diseases within the OBGYN setting. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of mammography, work independently, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Ensuring high-quality service and patient care is essential.

Location: 25500 Meadowbrook Rd Suite 250, Novi, MI 48377

Retention Bonus: Attain 120 hours of work to receive a $1,000 bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain attention to detail during procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding exams.
• Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Complete patient documentation and administrative tasks promptly.
• Ensure timely delivery of results and escalate when necessary.
• Support compliance with MQSA and ACR standards.
• Maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and ongoing education.
• Preferred: Minimum two years of mammography experience.
