Qualifications

• When radiology credentials are required, ARRT Mammography registry within 1 year is expected.
• Associate degree in Radiology is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and radiographic examinations per protocol with accuracy.
• Maintain radiation safety and use shielding and proper exposure techniques.
• Prepare for and assist radiologist with complex exams.
• Perform quality control tests per ACR/MQSA standards.
• Ensure exams, paperwork, and logs are complete and accurate.
