Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health Highlands Ranch seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform mammography in accordance with MQSA and departmental policies. The role involves patient education, image acquisition, QC, and safe operation of equipment.

The candidate must be a graduate Radiologic Technologist with ARRT Mammography certification (or ARRT-R with provisional Mammographer and ARRT-M within 12 months) and BLS/CPR certification, able to work days on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Mammography (ARRT-M) certification or ARRT-R with State Provisional Mammographer registration and ARRT-M within 12 months.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. Card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient about procedures and exam.
• Assist physician with interventional procedures when needed.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, and perform imaging; ensure MQSA compliance and quality control.
• Position patient, perform imaging, analyze results, and report scan findings.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

ARRT-registered radiologic technologist (RT) with Mammography certification

BLS/CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)
