Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography and radiographic exams with precision, while maintaining radiation safety and patient education. The role involves assisting radiologists and ensuring high-quality exams in a Breast Care Center setting.

Candidates should be ARRT-certified with KY Radiation Operator credentials, have a BLS certification, and possess an associate degree in Radiology (bachelor preferred).​

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology required; bachelor preferred.
• ARRT Registered KY Radiation Operator certification required.
• Mammography registry within 1 year of employment required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and radiographic exams per established protocols.
• Maintain radiation safety and correct patient identification.
• Assist radiologist with procedures and contrast administration.
• Ensure examinations are complete with films and paperwork logged in the system.
