AdventHealth Avista in Louisville, CO is seeking a Mammography Technologist II for a full-time day shift. The role focuses on performing high-quality mammography and breast imaging on-site in a supportive team environment.

The position requires 1 year of mammography experience, stereotactic biopsy and needle localization experience, and ARRT credentials. MQSA/ACR knowledge is essential. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of mammography experience.
• 1 year of stereotactic core biopsy experience.
• 1 year of breast needle localization experience.
• Knowledge of MQSA and ACR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations following physician orders and imaging standards.
• Position patients and operate mammography equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Conduct daily QC checks and equipment safety procedures.
• Perform breast imaging procedures including stereotactic core biopsies, needle localizations, and seed implants.
• Maintain documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Assist with recalls, additional imaging, biopsy scheduling, and follow-up processes.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and surgical staff for coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with MQSA, FDA, and ACR accreditation requirements.
