UCHealth's Cancer Center Highlands Ranch is hiring a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography. The role performs mammography procedures onsite, ensuring MQSA compliance and patient safety. This position requires ARRT RT and Mammography certification, plus BLS certification prior to start.

The work schedule is days, full-time, at UCHealth Highlands Ranch in CO. The ideal candidate has ARRT-M within 12 months if not already certified and will educate patients, operate imaging equipment,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by ARRT or ARRT-R plus State Provisional Mammographer registration and ARRT-M within 12 months.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients about procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation.
• Assist physician with interventional procedures including fine needle aspiration and needle localization.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, and perform imaging with quality control; report equipment malfunctions and MQSA compliance.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and address image quality issues; report scan results.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking and decisive judgment.
