Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging per physician orders and protocol. You will maintain equipment, assist with QC checks, and support accreditation efforts in a collaborative team-based environment.

The role requires experience in mammography, knowledge of MQSA and ACR guidelines, and excellent communication with radiologists and staff. This position is full-time, on-site with clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mammography procedures and positions [Required]
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors [Required]
• Knowledge of Mammography equipment and MQSA/ACR regulations [Required]
• Ability to review prior images and identify areas of interest [Required]
• Ability to perform needle localizations, stereotactic core biopsies, and seed implants [Required]
• Ability to train others in special procedures [Required]
• Ability to work with radiologists and nursing staff [Required]
• Read, write, and speak English at a proficient level [Required]
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office [Required]

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality mammography exams per orders and departmental protocols.
• Maintains clean, stocked exam rooms and performs routine QC checks.
• Supports breast center initiatives, accreditation preparation, and QA activities.
• Follows MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines and safety procedures.
• Communicates results and coordinates with radiologists and team.
