Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality mammography services, prepare rooms and equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort. You will operate imaging equipment, process films, and maintain strict confidentiality in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The role requires certification as a Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS, with preferred mammography experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Washington Certified Radiologic Technologist required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Mammography certification or eligibility as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography images per clinical protocols and position patients to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Develop films and evaluate image quality; ensure proper patient identification and documentation.
• Provide patient education, address concerns, and promote patient-focused care while maintaining confidentiality.
• Adhere to MQSA, OSHA, and safety standards; participate in quality assurance and safety activities.
