Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist I to perform screening and diagnostic mammography with high technical proficiency.

This PRN, day-shift role in Indiana requires collaboration with Radiologists and a commitment to patient-centered care while complying with safety and regulatory standards. The position involves quality control, patient education, and assisting with mammography-guided procedures, along with accurate documentation and inventory management.

Competenze

• 1-3 years radiologic imaging experience required.
• 2-4 years as a mammographer in an acute care hospital preferred.
• Proficiency in positioning, imaging and radiation safety.
• Knowledge of FDA/MQSA, ACR and state regulatory requirements.

Mansioni

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography with proper positioning and compression.
• Ensures safety, infection control, and radiation protection.
• Maintains equipment and performs QC testing per ACR and FDA/MQSA.
• Reviews orders and patient history for accuracy.
• Educates patients on breast health and procedure expectations.
• Assists radiologists with FNA, localizations, and biopsies; maintains sterile technique.
• Prepares patients for invasive mammography-guided procedures and provides post-care guidance.
• Maintains documentation and image storage per regulations.
• Manages mammography inventory and supplies.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
