Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography at the Froedtert Men Falls Hospital in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will perform mammographic exams and maintain high image quality while working with clinicians, students, and patients.

Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred. ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology with Wisconsin license is required; ARRT-M within 12 months of hire and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology (RTR) and Wisconsin license required.
• AR R T-M certification within 12 months of hire is required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic exams and ensure optimal image quality.
• Resolve issues related to images, equipment, and quality control while collaborating with staff, students, and patients.

Job Summary:

Performs mammographic exams. Responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to images, equipment, and quality control. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical / clinical staff, students, and patients.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 1 year experience in performing mammography is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Post high school completion of an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology is required. A minimum of 1 year of college/university and/or undergraduate degree in a radiologic technology or clinically related field is preferred.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

40 hours of training specific to mammography is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ARRT registered IN Radiologic Technology (RTR) and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-M is required within 12 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
