Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Wisconsin. The role involves preparing patients and performing imaging procedures under radiologist supervision, using imaging equipment with strict radiation safety practices.

You will provide quality patient care, support departmental standards, and contribute to patient flow across imaging services. The position requires ARRT credentialing and Wisconsin radiography license, with CT, Mammography or Bone Density certification targeted

Qualifications

• One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.
• ARRT registered and Wisconsin radiography license required with CT/Mammography/Bone Density certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Post-high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

Schedule

Tuesday: 1200-2030, Thursday: 1000-2030, Friday: 0800-2030 (off Monday and Wednesday) holiday rotation (1-2 holiday's per year) with a call holiday as well weekend rotation to work a Saturday every 7-8 weeks

Job Summary

At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required

EDUCATION PREFERRED

An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION

ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 months of hire/transfer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
