Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammography exams across multiple imaging locations within a regional diagnostic team.

You will protect patient safety, communicate clearly, and ensure comfort while adhering to protocols and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 2 years hospital radiology and mammography experience.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Executing mammography procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Gathering patient history, screening for contraindications, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Protecting patient privacy and dignity, positioning patients safely, and assisting with transfers.
• Reviewing images for quality and completeness, maintaining high acceptance rates.
• Operating equipment safely, ensuring proper dose and technique, and adhering to infection control standards.
• Performing quality control tests, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
• Labeling, documenting images accurately, and managing daily procedures and inventory.
