Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging while supporting patients with information and reassurance.

This role requires radiologic technology certification, mammography experience, and a collaborative approach within a busy imaging team. The position offers a stable schedule and opportunities for professional growth within Wellstar's integrated health system.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Confirm patient identity with two unique identifiers.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Document results and ensure proper labeling in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort during positioning and transfers.
• Operate equipment safely, optimize dose, and adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Complete required QC tests and daily charge capture.
• Provide clear pre- and post-exam instructions and assist in training team members.
