Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography and related imaging in our Breast Center. The technologist will work across imaging disciplines including general radiology, CT, MRI, mammography, interventional radiology, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine as needed.
The role emphasizes quality control, accurate image labeling, and patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT registration in at least one modality (MRI/CT/X-ray/Mammography).
- NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology required.
- BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations.
- Perform all mammographic imaging procedures as trained.
- Ensure proper labeling and anonymization of patient images.
- Assist with quality control and QA processes per guidelines.
- Document procedures in EMR (EPIC).
- Maintain equipment and sterile work environment.
- Adhere to safety and shielding protocols.
