Description:

Saint Alphonsus offers a full-time day shift Mammo Technologist position at our Boise, Idaho location. A relocation allowance is available for candidates traveling more than 50 miles.

The Mammo Tech will utilize their skills and knowledge to perform mammography procedures and clinical breast examinations in the diagnostic and/or screening mammography areas of Medical Imaging in Idaho. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining patient and procedure documentation.
  • Keeping equipment and instrument knowledge up-to-date to ensure high-quality exams.
  • Providing effective communication with patients, tailored to their age and mental capacity.
Skills, Knowledge, Education, and Experience:
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of radiology experience is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
  • Must obtain Mammography registry through ARRT within 1 year of hire.
  • Active driving privileges are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous mammography experience is advantageous.
