Job summary

BayCare Health System’s Breast Center at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team on a PRN basis, with Day shifts.

The ideal candidate performs screening and diagnostic mammography, assists with RIS data management, and supports patient care. Florida ARRT licensure, BLS, and radiology credentials are required, along with 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist specialty required.
• Florida radiology license required.
• Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiology required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Mammography Technologist - Outpatient performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures and manages related imaging duties.

Mammography Technologist - Responsibilities:

• The Mammography Technologist - Outpatient performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Relevant Specialty

• Radiology - State of Florida

• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree - Radiology

• 1year Radiology experience
