Job summary

Solis Mammography in Las Colinas, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic mammography with a focus on precise positioning and exposure.

This full-time role requires a Texas license, ARRT Mammography certification, and completion of a 2-year Radiologic Technology program; the team emphasizes collaboration and patient-first care, with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) required.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU: 15 CEUs every 3 years, 200 documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography imaging and diagnostic services.
• Maintain excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
• Educate patients about the role of regular mammography in breast health.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and staff.

Work Location:

Las Colinas, TX

Work Hours:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Two Saturdays per month required 7:30am-1:00pm)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB


• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.


• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology


• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.


• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:

• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;


• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;


• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;


• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;


• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
