Performs medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma. Responsible for programming the machine for correct density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion. Prepares, maintains, and operates mammography equipment safely, following radiation safety guidelines. Performs and documents QA/QC tests as per MQSA standards. ARRT certification in Mammography required within 1 year of hire.

• Graduate from a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program (Required)

Experience

• 2 Years in Radiologic Technologist role (Required)
• 1 Year in Mammography (Preferred)

License/Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Required)
• RT(R)(M) - Registered Technologist in Radiography and Mammography (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
