Job description

Join to apply for the Mammography Technologist role at Atlantic Medical Imaging.

AMI is seeking a full-time, 40-hour per week Mammography Technologist to join the team at the Toms River office locations. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform mammography examinations according to established technical standards.
2. Follow instructional information and methods as directed by management.
3. Ensure safety, health, and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff. Be familiar with emergency procedures and life safety practices.
4. Perform related duties to ensure quality radiologic care, efficient patient flow, and safe office operations.
5. Provide supervision and guidance to non-technical personnel in the work area.
6. Utilize departmental clerical equipment and systems for accurate record keeping.

Qualifications:

• Graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT with Mammography certification.
• Valid NJ Radiologic Technologist license.
• CPR/BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles.
• Previous Dexa experience preferred.

Work Schedule & Location:

Based in Toms River, NJ, with shifts Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm and one shift 10am-6:30pm. Schedule may vary based on business needs.
