Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, seeks a Mammography Technologist for our Mesquite, TX outpatient imaging center. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a path for career growth through our Technologist Advancement Academy (TAA).

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certification are required.
• State licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
• Provide compassionate care and comfort during mammography exams.
• Educate patients on procedures and what to expect to ease anxiety.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain mammography equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and MQSA standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Position Summary

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience with a strong focus on compassionate care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety
• Provide compassionate care, recognizing the sensitive nature of mammography exams
• Educate patients on procedures and answer questions to ease anxiety
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain mammography equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including MQSA requirements
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
