Job summary

Lumexa Imaging is seeking a motivated Mammography Technologist to join our Hurst, TX outpatient imaging center. You will perform high-quality mammography procedures with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities include screening and diagnostic mammography, proper patient positioning, image quality, radiation safety, and collaboration with radiologists and front office staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (M) required.
• State licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
• Provide compassionate care, recognizing the sensitive nature of mammography exams.

• Maintain mammography equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including MQSA requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Position Summary

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience with a strong focus on compassionate care.
