Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Radiologic Technologist with mammography expertise to join our imaging team. You will perform high-quality mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, while supporting autonomous practice at multiple locations.

The position requires ARRT in Radiography and Mammography, BLS, and the ability to float to staffing needs. Preference for four years in mammography, with stereotactic/procedural QC experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Requires ability to float as needed to designated locations based on staffing needs. Competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
3. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. Four (4) years of mammography experience.
2. Two (2) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
3. Experience in Clinical Research setting.
