Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast imaging and support diagnostic care. You will operate mammographic radiographic equipment and related devices, ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining image quality.

No experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have 1 year of mammography experience. ARDMS/ARRT radiographer credentials and Mammography certification, plus BCLS, are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training.
• No experience required; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized breast mammography exams using mammographic equipment.
• Operate related equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) - ARRT Upon Hire Required and
