Mammography Technologist opportunity in one of New York City’s most respected private practices, located in Manhattan. You will perform 3D digital mammography to assist in diagnosing breast disease, working independently with a dedicated team in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or radiologic sciences program completion.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) is required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) is required.
• State license (where applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or radiologist when needed.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

The Mammography Technologist performs 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.
