Acloché LLC in New York City is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our private breast imaging team. You will perform 3D digital mammography, ensure image quality, and collaborate with radiologists to support early detection in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires ARRT registration and certification in Mammography, plus at least two years of mammography experience. You’ll work in a busy Manhattan practice with modern equipment and a strong commitment to MQSA standards and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Minimum two years of mammography experience
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.

Responsabilités

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

The Mammography Technologist performs 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.
