Management Performance Associates is seeking a Mammography Technologist in a private practice setting in Manhattan, NY. You will perform 3D digital mammography, work with a dedicated team, and contribute to early detection of breast disease in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires ARRT registration and Mammography certification, plus at least two years of experience. Expect a collaborative, cutting-edge imaging team with excellent compensation and full benefits in a city center

Qualifications

• Two years of mammography experience.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) required.
• State Radiation Control license if applicable.
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms.
• Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Complete patient information and paperwork accurately.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Manage medical records, consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate if delays occur.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

The Mammography Technologist performs 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
