Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC in New York City’s heart of Manhattan is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a private practice known for exceptional patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging.

You will perform 3D digital mammography, work independently within a collaborative breast imaging team, and contribute to early detection of breast disease in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) and Mammography (M) certification are required.
• State license (if applicable) may be required.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Complete patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate if turnaround times are exceeded.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

The Mammography Technologist performs 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.
