Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Mammography Supervisor at Lanenau Medical Center to lead the Breast Imaging team. You will supervise day-to-day operations, coordinate staff to align with patient schedules, and ensure equipment reliability and QA across all studies.

Candidate should have 3+ years of Mammography experience, ARRT(R) certification, and a radiologic technology degree. Tuition reimbursement up to $6,000/year is available for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent Mammography experience.
• Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• ARRT(R) certification and BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of the Breast Imaging section.
• Direct workflow for technical staff to meet patient schedules.
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate with Biomedical Engineering.

Provides supervision of the day to day operation of the Breast Imaging section. Directs the workflow for the technical staff for all classifications of patients throughout the department. Assigns staff to meet the needs of the patient schedule. Monitors equipment functionality. Works with field engineers and MLH Biomedical Engineering Department in addressing any equipment issues. In conjunction with staff technologists and technologist assistants, assures procedure rooms are stocked with supplies. Checks the quality of the images on PACS and solves the QA issues on all studies as needed. Is competent to perform procedures on all patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Maintain working relationship with all ancillary departments.
