Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist (ARRT RT(R)) in good standing.
• Mammography certification ARRT RT(R)M.
• Current state licensure (RL) prior to employment.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Completed 40 hours of mammography training.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging with patient safety, comfort and proper positioning.
• Educate and support patients to promote understanding and a positive care experience.
• Review images for quality and complete all documentation, image archiving, and exam processing.
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory and quality assurance standards, including equipment checks and reporting malfunctions.
• Collaborate with team across imaging locations and support onboarding/mentoring of new caregivers and students.
• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism and ongoing learning and skill development.
