Job summary

Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic mammography exams under general supervision, using appropriate imaging equipment for high-quality images while applying ALARA principles.

The role requires ARRT radiologic technologist registration, an Associates degree in Radiography, and BLS certification, with day shifts and full-time hours at Farmington Hills site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree in Radiography from an accredited program required
• ARRT radiologic technologist registration must be in good standing on hire
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required

Job description

Apprentice Hours will be from 7:00 am to 3:30pm, Monday -Friday.

Once apprenticeship is completed, then it will convert to 7:30 am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Scope of work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Associates degree. Graduated from accredited Radiography program required.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT Upon Hired Required.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or Red Cross
