Job summary

Mass General Brigham - Salem Hospital is seeking a part-time Mammographer to perform screenings under minimal supervision. Job Summary

Part time 20 hours per week. Great for mothers. Saturday and Sunday 7:30am-6pm. Under the administrative direction of the Mammography Supervisor, the Mammographer performs screening mammography at a level of competence that does not require constant supervision and assumes responsibility for designated areas.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with others.
• Proficiency in using computers and ability to quickly gain competency in various software applications, including hospital specific applications, Microsoft Office, cell phone, pager.
• Organizational skills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT).
• Licensure with the Department of Public Health to practice Mammography in Massachusetts.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography (ARRT).
• CPR Certification required.
• Preferred: One year of mammographer work experience.
