RahrBSG in Shakopee, MN seeks a Malt Processing Operator (Maltster) to monitor all malting phases from steeping to kilning. You will handle transfers, operate malt equipment, ensure product quality, and maintain sanitation per management directives.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of technical schooling or equivalent experience. Physical requirements are substantial, and teamwork is essential.

Formación

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Two-year technical schooling or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate and work with others toward common solutions.

• Must regularly lift up to 55 pounds and occasionally over 100 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor all phases of the malting operation using control systems and senses.
• Report deviations from standard practice to supervisors.
• Perform transfers: steeping, kiln loading/unloading, and germination operations.
• Operate equipment related to the malting process.
• Maintain plant sanitation and record workflows.
• Assist maintenance by reporting equipment malfunctions.
