Job summary

Malteries Soufflet in Idaho is hiring for an entry-level team member to learn the malting trade. Work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts across day, swing, or night, in a full-time role with a 1,040-hour probationary period.

You'll follow safety procedures, report issues, support a safe, inclusive work environment, and help cross-functional teams with continuous improvement. Prior malting experience is a plus but not required; strong teamwork and basic math are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have high school level math and be able to read and write.
• Self-motivated with ownership of processes.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Malting or brewing industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and policies of the organization.
• Proactively identify and report safety issues including near misses and accidents.
• Ensure the safety of our product and people while creating a safe environment.
