Malteurop Job Board is seeking a Malthouse Manager in Great Falls, Montana. The role involves managing Malthouse and Elevator Operations, driving results, and leading a production team. JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Manage all aspects of Malthouse and Elevator Operations including coverage for The Process Manager and the Elevator Supervisor positions.

MALTHOUSE OPERATIONAL DUTIES:

• Support all company initiatives, programs, and policies with a positive attitude.
• Enforce Plant Operating Rules and Regulations and Safety Rules.
• Work diligently and cooperatively with other employees to achieve all goals, targets and initiatives set forth by Management.
• Closely monitor malting process and act diligently to avoid any quality issues or production delays.
• Supervise malt production personnel, with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of his/her unit.
• Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Participate in all required training and education. Supervisor should develop his/her own Career Development Plan under the direction of Management and Human Resource Department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing or production leadership.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enforce SOPs, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position, including repeated bending, stretching, walking, twisting and lifting.
• Ability to set and prioritize goals
