Job summary

Briess Industries is seeking a Malthouse Operator in Manitowoc, WI. The role focuses on moving grain and overseeing steeping, germination, and kilning processes in the Malthouse facility.

The position requires training willingness, and preference for prior sanitation/GMP experience and forklift familiarity. 3rd shift hours are 11pm–7am with weekend work expected; benefits are offered after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude.
• Prior experience in food plant sanitation and GMP is a plus.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move grain and monitor the steep, germination, and kilning (drying) of barley or other grains.
• Complete production, inventory, receiving, and sanitation records.
• Perform sanitation of relevant areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
