Job summary

Cafaro at the Ohio Valley Mall is seeking a part-time Security Guard to help safeguard staff, tenants and guests while delivering excellent customer service. You will patrol the property, monitor surveillance, inspect access points, and complete daily documentation to keep operations secure and efficient.

The role requires standing/walking for extended periods, a valid driver’s license, and a clean background. Prior security or military experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communications skills.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Clean criminal background and be able to pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the safety and security of the facility, including staff, tenants and guests.
• Provide a high level of customer service to clients and patrons.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily documentation.
