Job summary

Allied Universal in Johnstown, OH is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driver Patrol Monitoring to protect clients in Retail/Malls and other settings. You will perform driving and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns with integrity and teamwork.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a set schedule including Thursday and Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, stock areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
