Job summary

GGP Services is seeking a Facilities Technician at Columbia Mall (MO) to assist the Operations Manager with safety plans, standards, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of the property. The role covers interior/exterior upkeep, repairs, and event setup while upholding safety policies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years in maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills with tenants and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to communicate information clearly with management, employees, tenants, and external contacts.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings and comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems.
• Operate equipment to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs; keep property clean.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance such as painting, plumbing repairs, lighting, roofing, and landscaping.
• Assist with inventory, records, files, MSDS, supplies and tools.
• Assist with snow removal and mall decor setup/takedown.
• Engage in safety practices per OSHA standards and company policies.
