Job summary

GGP in Columbia, MO is hiring a Facilities Technician to support Operations on the physical assets of the mall. You will assist with safety plans, standards, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance, ensuring a safe and well-maintained property.

You will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, interact with tenants and management, and participate in events while supporting emergency planning and safety training. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–3 years building maintenance or related field experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read plans and schematics and follow instructions.
• Microsoft Outlook familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Paint, drywall, plumbing, lighting, and roof-related tasks.
• Maintain inventory records, MSDS, supplies, and tools.
• Repair/relocate retail merchandise units as needed.
• Assist with mall decor setup and takedown for events.
• Conduct interior/exterior custodial duties and landscaping tasks.
• Support snow removal and emergency response as required.
• Adhere to Safety, Health, and Environment policies and OSHA standards.
• Engage in training to stay safe and compliant.
