Job summary

Stryker in Madison, WI seeks a senior Mako Specialist to lead collaborative efforts across MPS teams, delivering education, training, and updates on JR Mako applications. This role emphasizes stakeholder coordination, data-driven improvement, and on-site education to maximize robotic utilization.

You will partner with FEES, Customer Support and Marketing to launch re-education initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance while driving patient outcomes and field performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of work experience required.
• 8+ years of experience in a Mako clinical or joint replacement role covering manual procedures.
• Background in orthopedics and/or healthcare is highly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and cross-functional groups in a team-oriented environment.
• Persuasive oral and written communication skills; experience dealing with all customer groups and senior leadership.
• Strong analytical, project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timeline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Collaborative Leadership: foster a culture of collaboration with MPS Managers for technical competency and business growth via Mako utilization.
• Act as player-coach, engaging with MPS teams to ensure customer and team goals are achieved for their territories.
• Create scalable program guidelines for pre-course training to ensure consistency and effectiveness on JR Mako platform applications.
• Strategic Vision/Implementation: ensure Mako initiatives within the territory and communicate plans with stakeholders.
• Evaluate and report on the impact of Sales Education strategy within the field robotic sales organization.
• Utilize Stryker analytics platforms for collaboration with MPS leadership and local teams.
• Collaborate with management to use complaints data for education and re-education on Mako applications.
• Project Management: use complaints data to identify learning opportunities and improvement areas.
• Deliver education resources to MPS teams with Customer Support and IT.
• Assist in delivering customer reports from the Complaints Team.
• Demonstrate technical expertise with Mako JR applications to re-engage HCPS and educate local teams.
