Arlington Heights Memorial Library in Arlington Heights is seeking a Makerspace Advisor to support customers, teach equipment use, and develop hands-on programs for the Makerplace, an 8,000 sq ft stand-alone space.
You will lead one-on-one and group workshops, create templates and materials, troubleshoot equipment, and stay current with maker technologies to keep the Makerspace welcoming and inspiring.

We're looking for a curious, creative, and customer-focused Makerspace Advisor to provide hands-on support, teach customers how to use Makerspace equipment, and develop engaging programs for the Makerplace, our 8,000 sq ft standalone makerspace.
Education: High school diploma/GED required. 2-3 years college coursework preferred.
Schedule: Part-time position, 22 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling required as hours will include daytime, evening and weekend hours including alternating weekend shifts to accommodate the Makerplace schedule.
