Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Make Ready to restore vacated apartments to market-ready condition for new move-ins. The role requires at least one year of related experience and strong communication in English, with Spanish a plus. On-site work in Bedford, TX, with on-call and extended hours as needed.

You will inspect units, perform repairs, assist with painting, and help with trash-out and move-ins, contributing to a top-tier living environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete a checklist regarding make-ready.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Check lights and replace them as necessary.
• Replace or repair windows, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, and closets.
• Assist with painting duties when requested.
• Repair or replace curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, etc.
• Lend assistance during trash-out of the apartment, e.g., moving heavy items to the dumpster.
• Any other projects as directed.
