Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents. You will perform maintenance, cosmetic upgrades, and inspections to ensure move-in readiness and a positive first impression for residents.

You will collaborate with Maintenance and Property Management, handling turnover tasks and supporting ongoing repairs across the property. This role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, with typical daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work, including painting, surface repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and general cleaning.
• Ensure apartments meet company quality and safety standards prior to move-in.
• Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents and team members while working throughout the community.
